The first wines to feature the new package include the 2008 Grand Estates Chardonnay and the 2007 Grand Estates Cabernet Sauvignon which released nationally in September 2009.

Columbia Crest Winery, in conjunction with Chef Bobby Flay, today announced the launch of the "Flayvors of Washington" video recipe contest. The winner will have the opportunity to cook one-on-one with Flay, as well as enjoy a prize package valued at more than $5,000. The contest is being hosted on Food Network’s Web site, FoodNetwork.com. The contest is part of the continuing partnership between the Washington-based winery and Flay, which highlights the unexpected rewards of dining with Columbia Crest Grand Estates wines.

Columbia Crest, one of Washington state's top producers of premium wines, has announced the national launch of its new Horse Heaven Hills ultra-premium product tier. The wine, known as "H3" is crafted from fruit grown in the Horse Heaven Hills American Viticulture Area (AVA). The Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are now available in all markets for a suggested retail price of $15 per bottle.
