“Best Merlot Value in the Country.” - Quarterly Review of Wines - July 01, 2010 2007 Two Vines Merlot Columbia Valley
Simply a great wine buy. With approximately 150,000 cases produced annually, there is plenty of it available nationally. The wine has long received the attention of the media. For us, it is the best Merlot value wine in the country. Blueberry and spice in the aroma; blueberry and blackberry in the flavor, with a wisp of oak and spice, the finish is rich and fairly full.

Smooth, velvety and appealing for its refined red pepper–accented cherry and raspberry fruit, hinting at tobacco as the finish lingers gently.

Though perhaps just a notch below the 2002 version, this remains the Merlot to beat in the budget bottle sweepstakes. Bright berry fruit is married to smooth chocolate, without appearing over-manipulated or laced with fake vanilla. Creamy and consistent, its widely available at a great price.

A gentle, open-textured red that has red berry and sweet red pepper flavors to glide over crisp tannins. Not a big wine, but has a sense of refinement.
